PaperCut MF is constantly evolving delivering many changes across version upgrades. To avoid missing out on these changes we recommend that you ask yourself three important questions when upgrading PaperCut MF.
1) Is your MFD compatible?
PaperCut MF offers embedded solutions for most devices allowing for track and control of all copies, faxes, scans, prints and for integrated scanning features such as scan-to-cloud. Make sure you check if there is a current embedded solution for your device and if not contact us as we supply hardware to make it work.
2) Does the embedded solution support the features that I need?
We encourage resellers to explore the library of PaperCut MF embedded solutions to gain an understanding of the individual supported features and hardware compatible for each manufacturer. As these differ across brands we encourage you click here and familiarise yourself with these features and the list of supported devices.
3) Since upgrading have there been changes to my embedded solution?
In recent PaperCut MF version upgrades we have seen some valuable additions to features and supported devices improving the overall PaperCut MF experience. It is also important to mention that some embedded solutions are no longer supporting all features and devices. Resellers need to be aware of these changes when upgrading versions of PaperCut MF to ensure that these changes do not effect their current set up.
